Cryptography Workshop

This workshop will focus on Cryptography. For students enrolled in 'Fundamental Concepts of Cryptography' (and of course, anyone interested), the goal is to build on the fundamental theory covered in the unit, enabling you to confidently apply cryptographic techniques in a variety of real-world contexts. Learn to encrypt and decrypt:

• Files at rest or in an email,
• A USB,
• HD Partitions,
• A Linux Operating System,
• Endpoints/Sockets.,

Food: There will be food provided!

Things to bring: a laptop with a Linux distro (VM), an empty USB and/or an empty external hard drive - all of which are optional, but to get the most out of the session, it would be great to be able to do the short labs. Open to everyone!
